ORLANDO, FLa. – It’s a windy and unsettled day across east central Florida, especially along the coast where gusty winds will continue through the afternoon before calming down tonight.
Beach conditions are dangerous, with large waves up to 7–12 feet and a high risk of rip currents. It’s not a good time to swim or go boating, and staying out of the water is strongly advised.
Scattered showers will pass through today and into Monday, driven by lingering moisture from a stalled front to the south and a steady easterly breeze. Showers are expected to continue to be hit-or-miss by Tuesday.
Temperatures stay comfortable, with lows in the 60s Saturday night and highs in the 80s through the upcoming week. Overall, conditions will slowly improve, but the coast will remain rough for a bit longer.
