ORLANDO, Fla. – A brief cooldown has arrived across Central Florida Sunday, but don’t get too comfortable because the summer-like heat is set to build back fast this upcoming week.
SUNDAY
The rain and storms along Saturday’s front have cleared, leaving noticeably cooler and drier air in its wake for Sunday. Clouds will clear across northern areas, while southern sections stay mostly cloudy longer into the afternoon.
Temperatures today will feel much different compared to Saturday’s heat, with highs holding in the mid to upper 70s along the coast, and low 80s.
WEEK OUTLOOK
But all good things must come to an end, as the pleasant air will not last long.
Starting Monday, temperatures begin a steady climb each day as high pressure rebuilds across Florida. By Wednesday and Thursday, inland areas are expected to surge back into the low to mid 90s.
Rain chances stay fairly low through most of the workweek, though a weakening front approaching late week could bring a few isolated to scattered showers and storms Friday into Saturday.
