ORLANDO, Fla. – Arthur is no more. As of 11pm Wednesday, Arthur has transitioned into a post-tropical low as the center of circulation continues to push inland, losing its source of fuel of warm Gulf waters.
Though post-tropical, what was Arthur will continue to bring deep tropical moisture into the deep South, leaving a major flooding risk from Louisiana to the Florida panhandle. Five to 10 inches of rainfall is possible in this area as this deep tropical moisture pushes inland.
Some moisture from Arthur’s remnants will flow into Florida by Friday to help raise our rain chances to round out the week and begin the weekend.
This is the last advisory issued by the National Hurricane Center on Arthur.
