Jordan Patrick is an AMS Certified Meteorologist with a decade of experience forecasting in the state of Florida. Jordan joined News 6 in April of 2026. You can catch him weekend mornings, evenings, and the 10pm Newscast on Clickorlando.com and the News 6 app.
As a native Floridian himself, Jordan is no stranger to sea breeze thunderstorms and strong hurricanes. Jordan's interest in weather sparked at a young age, deciding to make a career in weather after Hurricane Wilma impacted his neighborhood in South Florida back in 2005. He went on to obtain a B.S. in Meteorology from Mississippi State University in 2017. In 2019, Jordan earned the designation of Certified Broadcast Meteorologist from the American Meteorological Society. The AMS CBM designation is the highest rating awarded by the American Meteorological Society.
Jordan's professional career began in 2017 at WJHG in Panama City Beach, FL where he tracked severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, and even snow flurries! From there, Jordan made his way down to Southwest Florida to further his tropical experience at WZVN ABC-7 in Ft. Myers back in 2018. Jordan made his way back home to South Florida in 2020 where he worked at WPLG Local 10 news in Miami.
Aside from tracking hurricanes or summertime thunderstorms, fitness is a big part of Jordan's life. Jordan likes to regularly hit the gym and run around with his german shepherd and frenchie! Jordan is a lifelong Miami Heat fan and loves any and all food!
