Heat advisory issued for Flagler County

ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida will see another round of scattered showers and storms today, with feels like temperatures staying below heat advisory levels.

FRIDAY

Rain chances range from 30% to 50%, with storms developing this afternoon as the east coast sea breeze moves inland.

It will remain hot and humid, with highs in the low to mid-90s and heat index values between 102 and 107 degrees.

WEEKEND

The pattern changes little Saturday and Sunday, with another 30% to 50% chance of afternoon storms each day. Lightning, gusty winds and heavy downpours will remain the main concerns, with a few stronger storms possible.

Highs will stay in the low 90s, while heat index values again climb into the 102 to 107 degree range.
