ORLANDO, Fla. – Harvey has been downgraded to a tropical storm, but is still being watched closely as it remains over Texas.
The storm will not impact weather in Central Florida, but a low pressure system over Central Florida is being watched as it makes its way into the Atlantic. That system has a 50 percent chance of developing as it pulls away from Florida.

Central Florida will remain mostly cloudy Sunday and there will be a constant threat of rain that is expected to decrease slightly.
The weak and slow low pressure system dragging itself across the Central Florida is bringing lots of moisture and a very high chance of rain along with it. There is also a low possibility of lightning storms and severe weather.
There is a 40 percent chance of rain that will linger into Saturday evening, keeping temperatures warm and muggy. Lows Saturday will range from 75 degrees in Palm Bay and Ocala to 76 degrees in Orlando.

There is a 60 percent chance of rain Sunday and the possibility of a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Temperatures Sunday will reach highs of 89 degrees in Daytona Beach, and 90 degrees in Melbourne and Orlando.
Typical August weather will continue throughout the upcoming week. There will be a 50 percent chance of rain each day with thunderstorms possible in the afternoons. Temperatures will stay near or above 90 degrees.
