In addition to the child pornography material, deputies said in an arrest affidavit they also discovered multiple surveillance video clips within a Dropbox account that appeared to be recorded in various Hunters Creek Community Association areas, including parking lots, the front entrance, and bathroom areas, and contained footage of children who accessed or visited the facilities.

Detectives additionally found numerous videos created using a “Discreet Camera App,” which appeared to show juvenile boys between 15 and 17 years old who volunteer, work, or participate in sports for the association. The videos appeared to have been recorded without the boys’ knowledge, and many were focused on their genital area.

The Hunter Creek Community Association released the below statement about the arrest:

We are aware of information released by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office regarding the arrest of Steve Logan. The Sheriff’s Office informed the Association on January 28 that an investigation was underway. Steve Logan’s employment has since been terminated. The allegations are deeply troubling. We will continue our cooperation with law enforcement, and we are relieved that Detectives do not believe that any local children were put in any immediate physical danger or depicted in any violent or extreme physical exploitation in Logan’s possession. These actions do not reflect the Hunter’s Creek Community Association’s longstanding commitment to maintaining the trust and support of our community.
