ORLANDO, Fla. – Parts of Central Florida will flirt with record heat on Election Day.
Orlando is expected to see a high of 88 degrees. The record high on this date is 90, set in 2015. The average high on this date is 80.
There's no chance of rain as voters head to the polls.
Rain chances increase to 20 percent on Wednesday, with a high of 89.
"Expect high temperatures in the mid- and upper 80s on Thursday and Friday," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "Rain chances increase to 30 percent on Thursday and 40 percent on Friday."
The weekend will be partly rainy, with rain chances ranging from 30-40 percent.
"There is nothing to watch in the tropics," Bridges said.
