ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A man in his 30s was taken to the hospital after being shot on Monday afternoon, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they responded to the shooting around 3:25 p.m. in the 4900 block of Native Dancer Lane.

When they arrived, they located the victim, who was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Deputies said the suspect ran into a nearby wooded area, but was located and taken into custody.
According to the sheriff’s office, there is no additional threat to the community.
The investigation is ongoing, deputies said.
