TAMPA, Fla. – A healthy helping of Orlando-area restaurants just joined the ranks of Central Florida’s Michelin-starred eateries.

At the 2024 Michelin Guide Ceremony in Tampa on Thursday, four Orlando-area restaurants were awarded a Michelin star. The annually-awarded recognition is given to restaurants that offer outstanding cooking and satisfy universal criteria including the quality of ingredients, mastery of techniques and “the personality of the chef as expressed through their cuisine,” according to the Guide.

Michelin stars were awarded Thursday to Camille in Baldwin Park, Natsu Omakase in downtown Orlando, Papa Llama in Curry Ford West and Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

The four restaurants join Soseki Modern Omakase in Winter Park, Capa Steakhouse & Bar at Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort and Kadence in the Audubon Park Garden District with their new Michelin stars.

Forty-eight restaurants in total around Orlando are recognized by Michelin in some capacity, with two of them — Sushi Saint and Zaru — recently receiving the Guide’s coveted Bib Gourmand award.

“With 7 starred, 11 Bib Gourmand and 30 Recommended Restaurants in the 2024 Michelin Guide, Orlando continues to drive culinary innovation forward,” Casandra Matej, president and CEO of Visit Orlando, said in a statement. “This is a true testament to the growth and vibrancy of Orlando’s culinary scene, fueled by the dedication of our talented chefs, restaurateurs and committed service staff. Together, we’ve made Orlando a vibrant hub for international cuisine, attracting food enthusiasts and enhancing the local dining experience.”
