ORLANDO, Fla. – Publix has acquired six new properties after a multimillion-dollar deal last week, according to a representative for the company.

In a release last week, real estate investment firm Maury L. Carter & Associates announced that the Florida-native grocery chain had purchased six Publix-anchored shopping centers for $130.4 million.

“The portfolio includes neighborhood centers across Florida and Georgia, reflecting strong, continued demand for grocery-anchored retail in high-growth markets,” the release reads.
