ORLANDO, Fla. – Last week, seven more restaurants across Central Florida were forced to close after a visit from a health inspector, according to state records.
These records show that the reported eateries experienced violations like improper storage, sewage issues, or rodent droppings.

However, most of these restaurants were allowed to reopen within a day or two after meeting inspection standards.
The full list of Central Florida restaurants required to close last week is as follows:
CLEARWATER
- Sacred Spice Tampa Bay — 2325 Ulmerton Road
- Closed on Feb. 17
- Men’s One-a-Day improperly left on counter with vegetable soup
- Operated with an expired license
- Wastewater backing up through floor drain, causing bad smell and a significant amount of water to build up behind cook line
- Time/temperature violation for sliced tomato, cooked spinach, cooked squash, and yogurt sauce
- Met inspection standards on Feb. 18
COCOA BEACH
- Pizzavola CB — 5240 N. Atlantic Ave.
- Closed on Feb. 17
- Equipment/utensils not properly sanitized due to weak sanitizer
- Operator had been dumping mop water in grass behind building
- Raw sewage along rear sidewalk and grass areas
- Drain beneath triple sink and dishwasher overflowed onto the floor when draining sink (mop sink drain also backed up)
- Time/temperature violation for pasta

OCALA
- Catrina Cocina Mexicana — 303 SE 17th Street
- Closed on Feb. 17
- Dead roach spotted on gasket of cook line grill drawer
- Can of Raid pesticide stored on shelf in dish area
- Employee went from cleaning drawers to preparing tacos without changing gloves and washing hands
- Can of paint stored next to iron pans on shelf across from kitchen ice machine

ORLANDO

- Over a dozen dead roaches found on premises
