DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — This weekend, Bert Kreischer, the standup comedian, podcast host, and actor known as “a walking party,” is bringing the inaugural Full Throttle Festival presented by Mando to Daytona Beach on the night before the 68th running of the Daytona 500.
“The Full Throttle Festival presented by Mando, is Florida. It’s a Florida party,” Kreischer said. “It is in Daytona, the eve of the Daytona 500.”
Set for Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. ET, the festival will host up to 15,000 fans for a night packed with live music, stand-up comedy, beer, and barbecue under one massive roof. NASCAR is fueling the event, aiming to bring race weekend energy and a unique fan experience to the heart of “The Great American Race.”
Kreischer personally curated the lineup, which includes Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legends Lynyrd Skynyrd, electronic music star Diplo, and country artist Ernest. “If there’s going to be one band that’s going to get you to pack up the RV and make the drive over to go watch the show, it’s Lynyrd Skynyrd,” Kreischer said. “They define southern rock. They’re from Jacksonville. Jacksonville is as Florida as it gets.”
A Florida native, Kreischer described the festival as a “homecoming party.” “I grew up surfing at New Smyrna, the number one shark attack capital in the world, just south of Daytona,” he said. “Being outdoors is my space. I am a Florida kid. I like outdoors, I like being barefoot, I like sunsets, I like cold beer, I don’t mind mosquitoes.”
Kreischer emphasized the tight-knit community of NASCAR fans. “If you’ve ever been to a NASCAR event, you know there’s such a community involved. It really is about that infield, everyone in their RVs, cooking out, having a blast.”
He also pointed out the unique role the festival plays in the NASCAR weekend experience. “The way football fans treat the Super Bowl, NASCAR doesn’t have that,” Kreischer said. “So I said, I’m the guy to throw the party. I teamed up with NASCAR, teamed up with Medium Rare, my friend Shaq, Jason Kelsey, and my friends over at Mando. Everyone threw some money together just to throw a party.”
The Full Throttle Festival promises an unforgettable night of music, comedy, and celebration leading into the Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 15. “The thing about life, I believe, is find something to look forward to,” Kreischer said. “And that’s all I’m doing, is giving you an opportunity to have something to look forward to.”
