Great Big Game Show brings live, competitive game-show action to Orlando’s I-Drive

ORLANDO, Fla. – If you’ve ever shouted answers at the TV during a game show, Great Big Game Show on International Drive might be your dream come true — because here, you’re not watching the action, you’re in it.

Billed as a live, interactive 60-minute game show experience, Great Big Game Show puts guests on a soundstage-style set complete with lights and sound effects, then splits them into teams for a fast-paced series of mini games. The experience is designed to feel familiar to fans of classic television competitions, while still surprising players with new twists and formats.

During our visit to the Orlando (I-Drive) location, the competitive energy showed up almost immediately. Friends who arrived laughing and joking quickly transformed into serious teammates — and not-so-subtle rivals — as the score climbed and the pressure built.

Five games, five different challenges

Our session featured a rotating lineup that tested different skills and personalities — from risk-taking to wordplay to quick decision-making.

We started with “Spin Out,” a wheel-based game where the stakes escalate as you go, turning every spin into a calculated risk. Next came “Block Chain,” a trivia-driven round that rewarded teams who could think fast and stay locked in under pressure.

Then we moved into “Letter Roll,” a word and phrase game that felt tailor-made for the teammate who’s great at solving puzzles out loud. “Major Miners” followed — a buzzer-style showdown that plays with popular answers and can flip momentum in an instant.

We wrapped with “Chip Shot,” a hands-on round where each chip triggers a different outcome and the results can swing wildly based on where it lands. It’s the kind of game that gets everyone yelling directions, cheering, and groaning at the same time.

While International Drive is packed with attractions, Great Big Game Show stands out because it’s fully interactive and group-driven. It’s easy to imagine it as a go-to for birthdays, a night out with friends, family outings and even office team-building — especially because the competitive format brings out unexpected dynamics.

According to manager Sunshine, groups can play in teams and the experience is built to accommodate different ages and comfort levels, including kid-friendly versions of trivia.

One of the biggest takeaways: one hour doesn’t cover everything. Great Big Game Show offers 18 mini games to choose from, meaning the lineup can change from visit to visit — a strong selling point for repeat players. The company has also expanded beyond its early beginnings, growing to 20-plus locations with more expected.
