2 vehicles catch fire at downtown Orlando parking garage

No injuries reported at City Commons Garage

ORLANDO, Fla. – Two vehicles caught fire Tuesday afternoon at a downtown Orlando parking garage, according to officials from the Orlando Fire Department.

The fire at City Commons Garage on Boone Avenue was extinguished by 1:45 p.m. The cause of the fire is unknown. Officials said no one was injured.

A News 6 viewer recorded video of bright orange flames on the third floor of the garage and thick black smoke billowing in the area.

Video from the Orlando Fire Department showed firefighters reuniting a small dog they rescued from a vehicle in the garage with its owner. Officials said the dog was not in a vehicle that was burned.
