VIERA, Fla. – Jury selection continues in the trial for the man accused of the slaying of Brevard County Deputy Barbara Pill.

Brandon Bradley faces the death penalty if convicted in his first-degree murder trial.

Seventeen possible jury candidates remain on Thursday as the fourth day of jury selection continues.

The deadly shooting happened during a 2012 traffic stop, shortly after a motel burglary was reported.

Bradley's co-defendant who was in the car at the time of the shooting, Andria Kerchner, is expected to testify against Bradley.

The trial is expected to last up to five weeks.
