Deputies arrest man in Orange County gas station robbery

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies have arrested a man who authorities say robbed a Hess gas station at University Boulevard and Rouse Road.

Deputies said the man, identified as Joshua Bennett, entered the store around 12:30 a.m. Saturday.

Surveillance video captured Bennett walking up to the clerk and reaching for what appeared to be a gun in his pocket.

According to deputies, Bennett demanded cash from the worker and then fled the scene in a silver car with damage to the driver's side door.

No customers were inside the store at the time of the robbery but deputies told Local 6 they were looking for any possible witnesses who were outside the gas station at the time of the incident.

Bennett was later found and arrested Saturday.
