Woman, 47, killed in Malabar crash, troopers say FHP: 16-year-old boy suffers minor injuries in crash No description found
MALABAR, Fla. – A 47-year-old woman is dead and a 16-year-old boy was hurt in a crash in Malabar, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
It happened after 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Malabar Road and Glatter Road.
The Palm Bay woman was traveling east on Malabar Road in her 1994 Dodge pickup when she lost control of the pickup and left the roadway, troopers said.
The pickup overturned multiple times and came to a stop in a ditch.
The woman was taken to Palm Bay Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, FHP said. A 16-year-old boy who was a passenger of the pickup was taken to Holmes Regional with minor injuries.
The two inside the pickup were not wearing seat belts at the time, according to FHP's report.
The road was blocked due to the crash.
