Orlando police officer's cruiser struck by drunken driver, officials say

Ebentz Joseph, 25, arrested in crash

ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orlando police officer was taken to a hospital early Monday after being rear-ended by a drunken driver, authorities said.

The crash happened on International Drive near Alta Mira Drive.

The officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated and released from the hospital, Orlando police said.

Ebentz Joseph, 25, (pictured below) who was driving a black SUV, faces charges of careless driving and DUI with property damage and personal injuries.

No other details have been released.
