#OrlandoUnited T-shirts sell fast

Orlando Magic say shirts sold out on Day 1

ORLANDO, Fla. – Both the Orlando Magic and the Orlando Solar Bears sold out of #OrlandoUnited T-shirts honoring victims of the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub at their in-store locations.

On Friday morning, the Solar Bears tweeted that they sold out of the T-shirts at their Maitland location in less than an hour, but that a new shipment may be coming in the afternoon.

The Orlando Magic tweeted Thursday that #OrlandoUnited T-shirts honoring victims of the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub sold out for the day. The Magic said on Friday that both black and blue shirts were available in their online store.

The NBA team said shirts will be available again Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Amway Center.

On Tuesday, five local sports teams --  the Magic, AFL's Orlando Predators, MLS's Orlando City Lions, NWSL's Orlando Pride and ECHL's Orlando Solar Bears -- rallied together to show the community that they are #OrlandoUnited.

The teams designed T-shirts displaying the slogan #OrlandoUnited to support the victims and families affected by the Orlando tragedy.

The net proceeds from the T-shirt sales will be donated to the City of Orlando's OneOrlando Fund -- OneOrlando.org.

As of Thursday, the black, blue and purple T-shirts ranging from $22 for adult sizes to $18 for youth sizes will be available at several locations, including the Orlando Magic Team Shop at Amway Center, a pop-up store at Wall Street Plaza, and the Orlando Solar Bears offices located at 2200 Lucien Way, Suite 400 in Maitland.

On Friday, T-shirts will be sold on their online store (http://store.orlandosolarbearshockey.com). The pop-up store at Wall Street Plaza will also be continuing T-shirt sales on Friday.

On Saturday, T-shirts will be sold at Camping World Stadium during the MLS game between Orlando City and San Jose.

And on Friday, June 24, T-shirts will be sold at the Amway Center during the AFL game between the Predators and Tampa Bay.

"We are proud to unite with our fellow local sports teams to provide support to those personally affected by this unimaginable tragedy," said Orlando Predators President Jared Saft. "In the face of such senseless devastation, the Orlando community will be defined by its strength and unity. Our hearts go out to all of those impacted by this weekend's events and we will continue to provide assistance in any way that we can."
