Intruder takes firearms in Orlando home invasion

Deputies investigate theft

ORLANDO, Fla. – An intruder made off with multiple guns during a home invasion Sunday in Orange County, deputies said.

The home invasion was reported on Agnes Scott Way in Orlando.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said a man was awakened by an intruder who was pointing a handgun at him. Authorities said the gunman went through the home while the victim stayed in the bedroom.

The victim's roommate returned home, and it was determined that the intruder had taken multiple firearms, deputies said.

No injuries were reported.

An investigation is ongoing.
