Holy Land Experience hosts free day

Free admission given on a first-come, first-served basis

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Holy Land Experience announced Jan. 17 on Twitter that it will be offering free admission on Wednesday, Jan. 25.

Tickets usually cost $50 for adults and $35 for children. Parking is always free.

The park opens at 10 a.m., but visitors are encouraged to arrive early because the annual free day is usually one of the busiest days of the year. Admission is offered on a first-come, first-served basis until the park hits its capacity.

The annual free day can also cause traffic problems on Vineland Road near Interstate 4 where the Christian-themed attraction is located.

The Orlando attraction offers one free day a year so it can retain its status as a religious entity exempt from property tax under state law, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
