SANFORD, Fla. – A Seminole County man known as the "Junkman" promised to clean up his act after he pleaded no contest to felony dumping and nuisance charges.

Alan Davis has battled code enforcement officials for years over the trash and debris piled outside his Altamonte Springs home.

A judge sentenced him Thursday on two misdemeanor convictions. Davis now has 60 days to clean up his yard or he will spend a year in jail.

Davis was also sentenced to five years of probation.
