Hearing continued for man accused in Walmart diaper thief fatal shooting

ORLANDO, Fla. - – The hearing for a man charged with shooting and killing an accused diaper thief outside an Orlando Walmart was continued on Wednesday.

The pre-trial hearing for Lonnie Leonard was moved to August 25.

According to police, Leonard said that he feared for his life when he shot Arthur Adams, 19, outside the store on Clarcona Ocoee Road in February.

Prosecutors later charged Leonard with manslaughter, saying Adams wasn't armed and was trying to get away at the time of the shooting.
