VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a man sought on aggravated domestic battery charges after he eluded police by leaping from a second-story balcony.

Authorities are searching for Aaron Heath Rogers, 38, after they said he severely injured someone's face Thursday, deputies said. Rogers was already under house arrest and on probation for a previous domestic violence case, they said.

The Sheriff's Office said Rogers jumped from a second-floor balcony at Blue Tide Apartments on Riverside Drive to flee from Holly Hill police.

Deputies said Rogers was last seen driving a silver 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse convertible with Florida tag Y56-WSB. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
