Heroin, LSD among drugs found in home, police say

MELBOURNE, Fla. – A 38-year-old woman was arrested Thursday after she was found with multiple drugs in her possession, Melbourne police said.

Officers said Shannon Coombs was arrested when police carried out a search warrant at her home on Sadler Lane after conducting an investigation into drug-related crimes.

Police said they seized about 62 grams of crack methamphetamine, 83 grams of cannabis, 1 gram of heroin and less than 1 gram of LSD from Coombs's home.

Officers said they also collected drug paraphernalia, firearm ammunition and five handguns and two shotguns found in the home.

Coombs was charged with delivery of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, police said.

Officers said further charges against Coombs regarding trafficking the drugs and a felon being in possession of a firearm are pending.
