Man stabbed by 19-year-old after showing up to party uninvited, Seminole deputies say

Deputies: Victim in critical condition

LONGWOOD, Fla. – A 19-year-old man was arrested early Sunday after he allegedly stabbed a guest who showed up uninvited to a party he was hosting at his Longwood home, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies said they were called to Noah Hiebert's home on Pickering Court just before 2 a.m. to respond to a disturbance.

Authorities said they arrived at the home and saw several people standing outside around a 21-year-old man who was lying on the ground bleeding from his upper thighs and lower stomach.

Witnesses told investigators that Hiebert and the victim began arguing after the victim showed up to the party before Heibert allegedly stabbed him several times with a pocket knife. Deputies said Heibert threw the knife down a sewer drain and fled from the home.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was in critical condition, authorities said.

Heibert returned while investigators were talking to witnesses and was arrested, deputies said. He was charged with attempted homicide and tampering with evidence in connection with the stabbing.

Deputies said Heibert, who was already on felony probation for drug charges and battery, was also charged with violating probation.

He was booked into John E. Polk Correctional Facility and is expected to appear before a judge Monday afternoon, authorities said.
