Authorities said two men, identified as Michael McRoberts, 21, and Tristan George, 18, shot at each other and both were taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Details about what led to the shooting have not been released, but authorities said they apparently know each other.

"When you are in the criminal element and do things that are illegal, this is one of the hazards of your occupation," Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly said.

Deputies identified Brooklynn Marino as the woman who drove one of the men to the hospital. The car she was driving has been found and is in possession of the Sheriff's Office. Marino is still wanted for questioning about the shooting.

"Deputies are actively searching for Marino as a person of interest in this case and need the community’s help in locating her to see if she can provide more information on this case," the Sheriff's Office posted to Facebook. "Marino is believed to be driving a silver 2013 Nissan Altima with Florida Tag IISS74."

Anyone with information about the shooting or Marino's whereabouts is asked to call 386-313-4911.
