MELBOURNE BEACH, Fla. – A search is underway in Brevard County after the Sheriff’s Office says a man in his 50s went under the water and has not been located.
Deputies say this all happened around 9:30 a.m. as the man was on a boogie board near A1A and Cove Road in Melbourne Beach.
Video shows multiple different agencies responding, including the sheriff’s office and Brevard County Fire Rescue.
A helicopter can be seen flying overhead, as other first responders can be seen on shore with binoculars trying to locate the man in the water.
