Conway Road reopens after fatal crash

Motorcyclist killed, second person in critical condition

ORLANDO, Fla. – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Conway Road on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Orlando Police Department.

All lanes of Conway Road were closed between Michigan Avenue and Curry Ford Road from about 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Police said a motorcycle was driving north on Conway Road when it crashed into a vehicle that was making a U-turn.

One person who was on the motorcycle died and the other is in critical condition. No one in the vehicle was injured.

Sky 6 video from the scene showed a gold sedan with extensive damage to its rear end and a black Suzuki motorcycle on its side in the median.
