“We created this run as a way to honor Liza and cope with our own feelings. This run is 8.2 miles taking a path she would regularly run,” according to the event details on Facebook.

Other footage posted to social media showed people singing “This Little Light of Mine” in unison and holding up lights.

Fletcher, 34, was abducted on an early morning run in Memphis last Friday. Her body was found the following Monday, police said.

A suspect, 38-year-old Cleotha Henderson, has been charged with Fletcher’s murder.
