DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Looking for some beachfront property on a budget? Head over to Daytona Beach.
Realtors.com's new study broke down the most affordable beach towns in America to own property, and Daytona Beach ranks eighth on the list.

The website selected two cities per state in order to diversify the list. The cities had to be at least 30 miles from each other and have at least 30 homes on the market.
The other Florida city selected was Deerfield Beach, which came in at No. 4 on the list.
The study also breaks down why Daytona Beach, self-titled the "World's Most Famous Beach," is one of the cheapest.
"The prices haven't come back from the (2007) crash," said Rose Roberts, the president of Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors. "But the market is definitely improving."
The article notes that prices get cheaper once you go across the A1A. People looking to purchase a home may be able to buy a single family home within walking distance to the beach for less than $200,000.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, Florida's two most expensive beach towns are Key Biscayne and Anna Maria, both boasting an average home price of well over $1 million.
