Officials say no one was inside home or injured

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A man both set fire to and shot into his mother's mobile home Saturday, according to officials from the Brevard County Sheriff's Office.

The suspect, 36-year-old Michael Raglan, has been arrested on charges of first-degree arson and discharge of a firearm in public. No one was injured during the incident, according to authorities.

Deputies initially said Raglan set his own residence on fire. It's unclear if he lived there along with his mother.

Authorities did not release any information on what Raglan's motive may have been.

Raglan was arrested in March on charges of criminal mischief, when deputies said he was caught shooting signs at a solar farm. He was also arrested in 2014 on domestic battery charges.

Raglan is currently being held in the Brevard County Jail on $26,000 bond.
