ORLANDO, Fla. – At least one person is dead and several others are injured following a crash in Orange County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the crash took place on East Colonial Drive in Christmas Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased victim’s name has not been released. It’s unclear how many others were injured in the crash or how many vehicles were involved.

East Colonial Drive was shut down at the St. Johns River Boat Ramp as the investigation was underway.

FHP said the driver of Toyota was exiting the access driveway to an airboat ride attraction on the west side of Colonial Drive.

Investigators said a driver of a 2004 jeep was heading westbound on Colonia Drive.

Troopers said the Toyota attempted to make a left and went into the direct path of the Jeep.

Four people from Toyota were rushed to a local hospital.

No other details were immediately available.
