ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A teenage boy and a teenage girl were shot Saturday in Orange County, deputies said.
The shooting happened in the 300 block of Ferguson Drive but few details have been released.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said the victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Sheriff’s officials on Monday said the shootings were tied to gang violence in the community over the last few months.
Over the past few weeks, a 14-year-old and a 3-year-old were shot and killed in gang-related shootings, according to authorities.
“Those were just two of the four drive-by shootings that have happened within this past week,” Orange County Sheriff Mina said last month. “There are some very violent gangs here at work in Orange County. They’re heavily armed and not afraid to use violence and don’t think twice about who they kill.”
