Man on tracks hit, killed by train in Kissimmee, troopers say

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – A man was found dead Wednesday morning along train tracks near Kissimmee, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The victim was found around 7 a.m. on the railway located near Old Tampa Highway and Pleasant Oaks Court, troopers said.

Investigators have not identified the man and said he was hit by an unknown train. It’s unclear when he was killed.

A SunRail commuter train was delayed between Kissimmee and Poinciana due to the investigation on the tracks.
