Gov. Ron DeSantis makes food bank announcement Governor set to speak at 11:30 a.m.
PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. – Gov. Ron DeSantis is making a food bank announcement Thursday morning, according to the governor’s office.
He will be making the announcement with Palm Beach County Foodbank in Lake Worth. News 6 will be streaming this live starting at 11:30 a.m.

This announcement follows a “major” announcement the governor made Thursday about the Everglades Agricultural Area Reservoir Project. DeSantis said the South Florida Water Management District unanimously approved the project partnership agreement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to begin federal construction.
