Fully involved Port Orange fire leaves home uninhabitable, investigators say

Fire broke out Tuesday with no one home, according to Volusia County Fire Rescue

PORT ORANGE, Fla. – Firefighters responded to a fully involved house fire in Port Orange Tuesday afternoon, according to Volusia County Fire Rescue.

The fire started at 1903 Poinsettia Drive when no one was home, investigators said.

According to Volusia County fire officials, no injuries were reported, but the home was rendered unsalvageable.

Visuals showed smoke pouring out of the home as firefighters worked the scene.

The State Fire Marshal is currently investigating the incident.
