2 dead in Titusville shooting, police say

TITUSVILLE, Fla. – Two people are dead after a shooting Thursday morning in Titusville, police said.

The double shooting happened around 7 a.m. on Lakeview Hills Avenue near Dawn Drive.

Titusville police tweeted shots were fired in the area and officers found a woman dead inside a vehicle in the driveway and a man critically injured close to the vehicle on the lawn.

Police confirmed the man who was critically hurt died about three hours later from his injuries.

No other details have been released.
