LEESBURG, Fla. – Leesburg High School’s Class of 2022 graduated Friday evening — but instead of sunshine and smiles, evening storms decided to rain on their parade .
A video of the commencement shows students walking onto the school’s football field for the ceremony, at which point skies were already overcast.
However, as the ceremony continued, rain began to fall, soon evolving from a drizzle into a downpour and eventually a storm, with lightning strikes illuminating the procession.
