Families displaced when fire scorches Orange County townhomes

Firefighters battle blaze on High Pine Road

ORLANDO, Fla. – Two families were displaced when a fire broke out early Tuesday at a townhome complex in Orange County.

The fire burned homes on High Pine Road north of Sand Lake Road and west of Dr. Phillips Boulevard.

Orange County Fire Rescue said flames were shooting from the back of a home when crews arrived.

No one was injured, but there was extensive damage to some townhomes, officials said.

No other details, including the cause of the fire have been released.
