Deputies investigate 2 scenes after man shot, killed in Orange County

Victim identified as 22-year-old Donneill Davis Jr., deputies say

ORLANDO, Fla. – A man in his 20s was shot and killed Wednesday night in Orange County, where deputies were investigating two scenes, officials said.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called around 9:30 p.m. to the intersection of Lalchandani Way and South John Young Parkway for a shooting.

Sheriff’s officials said a short time later, deputies were told that a man who had been shot was driven to Kaley Street near I-4, where a gas station was blocked with crime tape.

The shooting victim, later identified as 22-year-old Donneill Davis Jr., was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, officials said.

The sheriff’s office said there’s no information about the suspected shooter or any other details.

An investigation is ongoing.
