According to investigators, the victim had planned to sell an illegal firearm to Rosado but when the two met up, the suspect “decided he was not going to pay, and he shot and killed Reid in the process of robbing him.”

Both Rosado and Reid were armed, deputies said.

Rosado was sentenced after pleading guilty to second-degree murder.
