ORLANDO, Fla. – Thursday marks the start of Pride Month, a month dedicated to celebrating our LGBTQ+ community.

Over the next 30 days, News 6 will cover the people, places and events that are important to LGBTQ+ life in Central Florida.

Last year, News 6 highlighted a company that promotes LGBTQ+ homeownership, stayed on top of developing onePULSE news, featured a teenage Winter Park LGBTQ activist and more.

This month, we hope to give a louder voice to the community as it expresses the highs and lows that it’s experienced this year.
