Orange County 5-year-old died from cocaine, fentanyl; mom arrested, deputies say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A year after a 5-year-old boy died in the hospital from cocaine and fentanyl, his mother has been arrested, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested Glendalis Godreau Torres, 26, on Tuesday.

Investigators said Godreau Torres’ son, Hector Pantojas, was found unresponsive in August 2022. The boy later died at the hospital.

Deputies said toxicology reports found cocaine and fentanyl in the boy’s system.

Detectives said they then discovered Godreau Torres was dealing drugs out of her home.

The mother faces a charge of aggravated manslaughter of a child.
