Kyle Last, 36, crashed into building off East Fort King Street

OCALA, Fla. – A burglary suspect died after fleeing from a Marion County sheriff’s deputy and crashing a car into a building Sunday night, according to the sheriff’s office.

Kyle Last, 36, was pronounced dead after the vehicle he was in drove through a business off East Fort King Street and 22nd Avenue.

The sheriff’s office said a deputy tried to pull Last over Sunday night, but he rammed the deputy’s vehicle, disabling it as he fled. The sheriff’s office said they did not pursue Last.

Ocala police later responded to the crash and found Last, who was pronounced dead.
