Hello, world! Central Florida hospitals welcome first babies of 2024

AdventHealth, Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies welcome little ones

ORLANDO, Fla. – Some parents in Central Florida celebrated more than just the new year on Monday.

AdventHealth and Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies welcomed its first babies born in 2024.

Jose Umahag IV, weighing 6 pounds and 4 ounces, was born at 12:08 a.m. at Advent Health. His parents, mom Marielle Jarillo and dad Jose Umahag III, are both nurses at AdventHealth Waterman, according to the hospital.

At Winnie Palmer, Milo Philip was born at 1:20 a.m., weighing 7 pounds and 10 ounces.
