DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Police in Daytona Beach say a missing 82-year-old woman was found dead near her home.
Celena Fletcher-Beatty was last seen on Monday, Jan. 15 at a home on Aston Grande Drive in a subdivision off International Speedway Boulevard, west of the Tomoka River.

Friends say they had not spoken to her since Wednesday, Jan. 17.
On Monday evening police posted on social media that Fletcher-Beatty was found in a pond near her home after an extensive search.
