Man arrested after deputies locate 2 dead in Orange County home, sheriff’s office says

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Orange County deputies on Saturday arrested a man suspected in the deaths of two people at a home in Azalea Park, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies responded around 10 p.m. to the 1000 block of Tucker Avenue in reference to a death investigation, locating two deceased men with obvious signs of trauma, a news release states.

Jose Rafael Cantarero, 29, was identified as a suspect and was said to have left the scene, according to the release. Cantarero was secured without incident after he eventually returned, deputies said.

Cantarero faces two counts of first-degree murder with a weapon, records show.

No other details have been shared or confirmed at the time of this report. The sheriff’s office advised it was still very early in the investigation.
