Yes, a Florida black bear used a door handle to break into a car in Longwood. Video proves it

Animal nibbles on snacks in car before leaving driveway

The video shows the bear partially climbing into the car, apparently nibbling on some snacks in the back seat and leaving behind some muddy pawprints.

“We first thought someone broke in,” the shocked homeowner said. “We looked at our security cameras and we couldn’t believe it! You can tell this isn’t this bear’s first break-in.”

Fortunately for her, the bear did not destroy the car, but the weather played a part in causing a mess.

“I’m glad he didn’t destroy the inside of the car, but I would’ve appreciated him at least closing the door before he left in the rain.”

Now there’s even another reason to lock your car doors.
